Age Concern Torbay has organized a public meeting for Prospective Parliamentary candidates to address the key issues affecting older people in Torbay.

With nearly 60% of the electorate in Torbay aged over 55 politicians can’t afford to ignore older people.

The public meeting will be a great opportunity for the candidates to meet older people and hear their concerns directly.

Key issues to be discussed will include Age Discrimination, the Care and Support system, Pensions and older people’s financial security, the NHS, and older peoples’ contribution to our communities.

The meeting will take place on Tuesday April 27th at 2-00pm (to 4pm) at Central Church. Torhill Road. Torquay.  Tea and biscuits will be available.
