Chief Executive Officer - Liam McGrath
Liam McGrath joined the team at CVA Torbay as CEO on 13th June 2011 and will be known by many as the former Area Police Commander in Torbay where, together with the development of a range of community impact strategies, he was active in the formation of Ward Partnerships.  More recently he has been working within Devon County Council in roles involved with Children and Young People, an area of work in which he has a particular interest.  Liam has a depth of experience and expertise at the highest level in the public sector and has also worked with a wide range of voluntary and community groups, in both a paid and unpaid capacity, throughout his career.  He has a strong commitment to community issues and development.

Business Development Manager - Rachel Martin
Rachel is employed as the Finance & Office Manager for CVA Torbay.   Coming from a Chartered Accountancy background, Rachel joined CVA in 2009 and is now responsible for all the financial elements of CVA, as well as the offices and buildings.   Rachel will also be able to assist you if you need to book one of our meeting rooms.

Membership Development & Marketing Officer - Eloise Elson
Eloise is Volunteer Development Officer working at CVA Torbay. Her Primary role is to assist & support organisations that work with volunteers to ensure best practice across the sector. Eloise can advise groups about volunteer management policies and procedures and provide information regarding the current requirements when using volunteers within your organisation.

Community Funding Adviser - Robin Causley
Robin has had over twenty years experience of working in the Voluntary and Community Sector in Torbay.   This new position of Community Fundraiser is a joint initiative between CVA Torbay and the Torbay Community Partnerships with a view to supporting Voluntary and Community groups in Torbay in these difficult and challenging times on funding related issues.  The role will involve providing advice and support to enable groups to sustain their projects and services including: providing funding advice surgeries; visiting groups to provide advice; setting up a Forum for fundraisers; providing up to date information on new funding opportunities via Torcom; training courses on fundraising and related issues in conjunction with CVA and the Community Partnerships .
