Do You Get Outdoors much?

I’m trying to reach a wider audience, trying to let people know that a BTCV office exists in Torbay. BTCV is a registered charity that gets people to outside projects such as building ponds, small bridges, allotments or getting out to Dartmoor National Park! Not many people may know who we are.

We get people all the time coming out, whether to keep fit, get to know other people or learn about conservation work. Without these volunteers it would be just me and my dog driving around not getting much done.  The great thing also is you can get a great qualification too if you stick with it for a while.

I’m guessing there are a lot of people out there wanting to get outside doing something but don’t want to jog, don’t have a dog or garden or don’t know how to get involved with conservation work- this is where we come in!

We work alongside Torbay Council, Torbay Hospital and Teignbridge Council providing us, you, with varied wildlife and community projects. Please get in touch to me, Dan, the project organiser on 07740 899604 or to d.kent@btcv.org.uk  to know more.

Got a conservation project? Is there a community project in need of some extra motivated hands? Want to know how BTCV, UK’s leading volunteer conservation group, can help you and your project? Please call on 07740 899604
