Health and Wellbeing Event Torbay Link, the organisation which helps the public influence local health and social care services, is to hold a major community event.
As part of its ongoing engagement work regarding health and social care issues within the local community, it is to stage a Health and Wellbeing Event on Sat 31st March 2012 at Torquay Town Hall, Lymington Road, Torquay. 11am – 2pm.
The event will also see the launch of Young Link, a new group for twelve to seventeen-year-old volunteers who take an interest in their local health services and want to see positive change for young adults. More volunteers are also being invited to join in.
As well as advice on health and wellbeing at the event, there will be tea and coffee and free entry to members of the general public. Organisers hope to encourage a wide and varied sector of the community to attend.
Torbay LINK would like to be able to provide a variety of information to members of the general public and would like to know if any organisation from the public or voluntary sectors is interested in having a stand at the event to promote their organisation. Poster/flyers will be available by mid February.
