Salary - £19,855 per annum pro rata
Part time (22.2 hours per week) based at The Change Academy, Newton Abbot
The Participation lead worker will be expected to co-deliver a range of projects which engage targeted young people across Devon, with an emphasis on Torbay. The role requires the delivery of informal accredited programs; supporting individuals in gaining a range of life skills; ensuring that young people have a voice about the issues and services that are important to them, and help to improve services overall. The role will involve working with young people in a individual and group setting, and supporting them to actively participate in their communities and successfully get their voices heard.

Supported Housing Manager (North Devon)
(Job Ref 13-29)
Salary - £30,350 per annum
Full-time (37 hours per week) based at Young Devon’s Supported Housing Project in Ilfracombe but working across North Devon
We are looking to appoint a Manager to lead the operational development and delivery of our Supported Housing Projects for young people living in North Devon.
You will be leading and supporting a team of staff, working with vulnerable young people from 16 -21 years old, supporting them through the transition to independence by providing resettlement support and life skills. You will have experience of working with other agencies, have a good understating of supported housing and will demonstrate the ability to have positive working relationships within a management setting. The post holder will alternate with other staff members in the on call rota.

Youth Support Worker (Job Ref 13-31)
Salary - £19,855(pro rata) per annum
Part-time (18.5 hours per week) This role is based at the Young Devon YES, Ivybridge
Work as part of the team within the Supported Lodgings project, assisting with the delivery of services that enthuse, motivate and encourage young peoples personal and skills development. They will liaise with other agencies to ensure good working relationships to support young people in placements with host families, and to support the host families in developing their placements. Working with the staff team to ensure that all engaged in Supported Lodgings have appropriate support to achieve their specific goals, engaging with parents, host families and communities, and young people to ensure that the needs of young people are met, whilst supporting the Host Families they are placed in.
The successful candidate will be flexible and adaptable to change, have a good knowledge of current legislation that affects care leavers and young people in need, and safeguarding, health and safety and risk assessment procedures. They will be enthusiastic, creative, imaginative, positive and a team player, able to adapt to working with a range of individuals and their needs.
