The Riviera Concert Brass, based in Torquay, form a band of over 40 musicians who play for worthy charities and fund raising events throughout the year, thus supporting local events in the community.

The Bands next concert will be in the Avenue Church Newton Abbot in aid of the Church and The Towersey Foundation, this charity provides music therapy in palliative care for both children and adults both locally and nationally. The concert is on Wednesday 15th September at 7-30pm, tickets in advance from Mike Griffiths (01803) 409181, tickets will also be available at the door on the evening.
A further concert will be held in Central Church Torquay on Wednesday 27th October at 7-30pm. This concert is to launch the Torquay Branch of The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal, this will be a very special concert and all the proceeds will go directly to the Poppy Appeal and will provided much needed fund for the British Legion who face increasing demands on their welfare and rehabilitation needs especially with the ongoing injuries sustained by troops in the Afghanistan conflict.
