"The Board of Trustees of CVA Torbay is pleased to announce the appointment of Liam McGrath to the position of Chief Executive Officer.  Liam will be known by many as the former Area Police Commander in Torbay where, together with the development of a range of community impact strategies, he was active in the formation of Ward Partnerships.  More recently he has been working within Devon County Council in roles involved with Children and Young People, an area of work in which he has a particular interest.  Liam has a depth of experience and expertise at the highest level in the public sector and has also worked with a wide range of voluntary and community groups, in both a paid and unpaid capacity, throughout his career.  He has a strong commitment to community issues and development and is looking forward to returning to work in Torbay.
