Our Steps2 Inclusion project was started in October 2010. We were absolutely delighted when The Big Lottery, Reaching Communities Fund, decided they believed in our work enough to give us financial support to continue and expand the work we had been doing for over 5 years with the following 4 Torbay marginalised groups.

• Young Offenders
• Long-Term Unemployed
• Adults with Learning Difficulties
• People in Recovery from Mental Health Issues

We have a fantastic team of experienced support workers, a trainer, a project manager and an administration assistant who all work tirelessly with people teaching them work and life skills and offering them training to improve their employability and to be more confident in their lives overall.  

All of our placements have disabilities or have faced adverse circumstances which have left them with many barriers which have stopped them moving forward, our passion is to help them to find ways of overcoming them to enable them to lead a much more fulfilling life and be included in their own communities.
