About Vocal Advocacy

  • Vocal offers a free and independent Advocacy service for Adults with learning and communication difficulties.
  • We support people to have a voice, exercise their rights and to make their views known.
  • Vocal has represented people with learning disabilities and communication difficulties since 1993.

Vocal aims to:

  • to raise the profile of advocacy.
  • to make it more accessible to a wider community of individuals with communication difficulties.
  • to help set up and facilitate speaking up groups for people with learning disabilities.
  • to provide one to one advocacy.
  • to develop the provision of citizen advocacy, short term issue based and crisis advocacy.
  • to develop Service User Advicacy.

Our MISSION - Vocal will provide a free independent advocacy service to individuals with communication difficulties, which will help them express their opinions, their wants and needs and to exercise their rights.
