About Vocal Advocacy
- Vocal offers a free and independent Advocacy service for Adults with learning and communication difficulties.
- We support people to have a voice, exercise their rights and to make their views known.
- Vocal has represented people with learning disabilities and communication difficulties since 1993.
Vocal aims to:
- to raise the profile of advocacy.
- to make it more accessible to a wider community of individuals with communication difficulties.
- to help set up and facilitate speaking up groups for people with learning disabilities.
- to provide one to one advocacy.
- to develop the provision of citizen advocacy, short term issue based and crisis advocacy.
- to develop Service User Advicacy.
