To promote any charitable purpose for the benefit of persons residing in the Preston area of Paignton and in Particular to persons attending the Pembroke House surgery including the protection and preservation of health, the relief of the elderly in need, the relief of poverty, sickness and distress and the provision of recreational facilities to persons in need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity, disablement, poverty or social and economic circumstances with the object of improving the conditions of life of such persons.
