Watcombe Community Centre

Welcome to the website of the Watcombe Community Association.  

MISSION STATEMENT:
To  go the extra mile in serving the community needs and objectives, with your voice and or participation these are considered realistic.
We will serve as Officers & Committee in your interests at all times.
 
We are a community association representative of all age groups. The association has been in existence since 1974 and the new centre was built in 1991.
 
Councillors Gerry Skinner & the late Cllr Fred Stone were great supporters in the early days of setting up the association along with the late Dorothy Sapiecha of East Pafford Avenue a founder member of the Watcombe Residents Association.
 
The Community Centre has had a total refurbishment over the last eighteen months inc of a large fitted new kitchen & office,
 
On site we now have full PC equipment with Broadband this has been donated for community use and bookings for use are now in operation.

Main Activities: 
Fundraising - bingo on Wednesday and Saturday evenings from 7.00pm. Newsletter informing members of forthcoming events. We aim to promote the benefit of our association to the inhabitants of the area. To provide facilities in the interest of the social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation.
