Ladder4learning - Supporting learning in the Voluntary and Community Sector
Website – www.ladder4learning.org.uk launched together with the telephone advice service at the beginning of June 08, currently has approximately 670 providers advertising 685 courses. As well as a database of forthcoming courses, the website contains a range of useful information, factsheets and discussions relevant to workforce development.
Our new website and project developments:
We asked for your ideas about the features you’d like to see included as we develop the project and our new website. These ideas are summarised in our short online survey – please take 5 minutes to let us know what you think of our plans at:

Input to your AGMs/community lunches/other events:
We are very happy to come along to any events (AGMs, community lunches, etc) to offer demonstrations of our website or workshops on various aspects of workforce development, please get in touch if this would be useful.
Join our TNA project:
As part of our project we will be promoting the use of Training Needs Analyses and encouraging frontline organisations to use appropriate tools to identify and plan their workforce development. We have a small amount of funding to support local events and promotions (in the South West Region) and we’d like to work in partnership with you as support organisations to do this. We’ve identified a number of tools and approaches which are summarised here: www.ladder4learning.org.uk/docs/TNA_resources_310708.doc
