Registering a volunteering opportunity on 'Do-it'
 
Please read the following information regarding advertising volunteering opportunities on the ‘Do-It’ website.
 
We signpost all potential volunteers to the do-it website at www.do-it.org.uk
This is a National database of volunteering opportunities held on a website that is informed and searchable at local level.
 
So, groups register on the site (via CVA Torbay) and then register any volunteering opportunities (again via CVA Torbay). When people approach us because they are interested in volunteering we signpost them to the site. When they visit the site, they enter their post code and the search then brings up opportunities local to them.
 
Please find below the required forms, you need to first register as an organisation, once registered you can then add as many volunteering opportunities as you wish but we do a need a separate form for each opportunity.

On receipt of the forms, your organisation and opportunities will be uploaded to www.do-it.org.uk the National Database of Volunteering Opportunities. Why not visit the site, enter a TQ postcode on the front page and see the way the site works by bringing up the existing local opportunities.
